Des Griffin presents his February, 2007 Newsletter

Dear Friend:

Most people will instantly recognize the name Lee Iacocca. He’s the man widely credited with rescuing Chrysler Corporation when it was teetering on the brink of bankruptcy in the early 1980s. In his new book, Where Have All the Leaders Gone?, the 82-year-old former Chrysler CEO takes a long, hard look at the United States, the land to which his family emigrated from Italy many years ago. In his book he asks straight-forward questions that demand honest answers: "Am I the only guy in the country that’s fed up with what’s happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder. We’ve got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over the cliff, we’ve got corporate gansters stealing us blind, and we can’t even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, ‘Stay the course.’ Stay the course? You’ve got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned Titanic. I’ll give you a sound bite: Throw the bums out!

"You might think I‘m getting senile, that I’ve gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But some one has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country any more. The President of the United States is given a free pass to ignore the Constitution, tap our phone, and lead us to war on a pack of lies. Congress responds to record deficits by passing a huge tax break for the wealthy (thanks, but I don’t need it). The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs.

"While we’re fiddling in Iraq, the Middle East is burning and nobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving pom-poms instead of asking hard questions. That’s not the promise of America my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I’ve had enough. How about you? I’ll go a step further. You can’t call yourself a patriot if you are not outraged. This is a fight I’m ready and willing to have....

"So here’s where we stand. We’re immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving. We’re running the biggest deficits in the history of the country. We’re losing the manufacturing edge to Asia, while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs. Gas prices are skyrocketing... Our schools are in trouble. Our borders are like sieves. The middle class is being squeezed every which way. These are times that cry out for leaders. But when you look around, you’ve got to ask: ‘Where have all the leaders gone?’ Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, competence, and common sense. Name for me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo?...

"Name for me a government leader who is able to articulate a plan for paying down the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem? The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry. I have news for the gang in Congress. We didn’t elect you to sit on your asses and do nothing and remain silent while our democracy is replaced by mediocrity...." [end of quote].

FUTURE "LEADERS"?

Yes, where have all the leaders gone? That’s a good question, particularly in our nation’s capital - Washington, DC (The District of Corruption). In that regard, this writer is reminded of the cynical Greek philosopher, Diogenes, who used to stroll through the market place in broad daylight with a lantern. When asked what he was doing, he would answer, "I’m looking for an honest man." Reportedly, Diogenes found nothing but rascals and scoundrels. It is almost certainly true that if a modern "Diogenes" were to appear on the Washington, DC scene, he would have the same singular lack of success.

Since the end of World War II, there have been many hundreds of congressional and Senate "investigations." Ten of billions of dollars have been squandered over the years in staging these public "shows." With very few exceptions, their "findings" have been doctored, ignored, or stacked away on a conveniently distant shelf never to be seen or heard of again.

While writing this Newsletter, I checked with my friend Bob Fletcher who, from1987-1997, was heavily involved in a number of congressional or Senate "investigations." His experience shows that,"They never do an honest investigation because almost everybody up there [Capitol Hill] has been involved in criminal activity. They do all kinds of stuff but cover it up by calling them ‘top secret’ operations. Then, if there are other things connected with it - drug smuggling, murder, and all kinds of stuff - they won’t let anyone investigate. They just cover it up by calling it part of a ‘secret’ operation. Another excuse used to cover up criminal activity is ‘national security.’

"It’s just a joke. What is really terrible is that if you go back and check, you’ll find that hardly ever does anybody get in real trouble with a Senate or congressional investigation. Once in a while someone will get ‘put away,’ when it looks like it’s going right into the White House. They will be ‘thrown to the wolves.’ Admiral Poindexter was one such individual back at the time of the Iran/Contra scandal [late 1980s]. These guys who are thrown in jail are given five or six years, but they only stay in prison about four-six months. Where they stay is not really a prison - it’s more of a country club. Then, low and behold, a few million dollars will ‘mysteriously’ show up in one of their bank accounts. Then they will be paroled and given a presidential pardon. Their ‘jail time’ won’t even show up on their records. It will be as if they had never committed a crime. The millions they receive is a ‘reward’ for the inconvenience of their few months in prison. With their records ‘cleaned,’ they then qualify to receive their government pensions. [After all, every close-mouthed ‘servant’ is worthy of his hire!]

"George Bush Sr. was instrumental in having a law passed so that even if a government worker steals top secret documents they will not ever, ever have their pensions interrupted. That was put into the law books in the late 1980s, and that was the end of it."

"Another example is Colonel Oliver North, a member of the National Security Council and deputy director for Political-Military Affairs. He was found guilty of a variety of crimes, but was granted a pardon by George H.W Bush in 1992. North now has a widely broadcast radio talk show and is fawned over by many supposed ‘conservatives’ as a great American patriot and a staunch defender of the Constitution and the American way of life."

EXTREMELY NAIVE

With all these undeniable political realities clearly in mind, would it not be extremely naive to even consider the possibility that the "leading candidates" for the presidency of the United States in 2008 are anything other than team players who will - on cue - bow dutifully and obediently to the directions given by their puppet masters behind the scenes? They and their handlers, who are mostly placed in those positions by the power-that-be in the party structure, will all be working from their figurative 3 X 5 cards. The methods used in the making of a president are most eloquently laid out in Philip Dru: Administrator, a novel published anonymously in 1913. The author was later revealed to be E. Mandell House, President Woodrow Wilson’s mentor and controller. In essence, to become President one must "sell their soul" to the company store.

Capitol Hill in Washington, like state capitals nationwide, has been turned into little more than a house of political prostitution. Among the dictionary definitions of the word "prostitute" we find, "A base hireling, a corrupt and venal politician ... to sell for base gain ... a person given over to infamous practices; an abandoned person" (Oxford Universal Dictionary). Particularly in the modern age, the political scene is infested with a super abundance of such individuals. Those who "go anywhere" in politics owe most of their perceived "success" to their behind-the-scenes manipulators, their hidden financial backers, and the "good press" they receive from the national media.

In Philip Dru Administrator, E. Mandell House portrays most "successful" politicians as "creatures" or creations of the political and corporate establishments. They are individuals who are "ambitious to become leaders and get within the little group" that runs the show. These creatures are, as defined by the Oxford Dictionary, nothing more than "base hirelings" and "venal politicians" who have sold their souls for short-term gain.

Regarding "ambition," we should bear in mind the perfect example set by our Lord Jesus Christ when he went "into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil." There, Satan tempted him by showing him "all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them." He then promised Jesus, "All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me." Notice that Jesus didn’t respond in a "base, venal" or politically ambitious manner. No, he immediately focused in on total reality: "Get thee hence, Satan, for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Matthew 4:1,8-9).

As Satan is the "god of this world" (II Corinthians 4:4) and "the prince of the power of the air that now works in the children of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2), he leads his human instruments - his "illuminated" servants - to select for political office those who are most "usable" in his scheme of things.

In his novel, House portrays his candidate for president as declaring, "Gratitude is one of the tenets of my religion, and therefore inversely ingratitude is unknown to me. You and your organization can count on my loyalty from the beginning to the end, for I will never fail you" (p.79).

This applies to all "leading" candidates of both the democratic and "republican" parties. In this regard we need to acknowledge the truth revealed by Insider Dr. Carroll Quigley (Georgetown University) in his 1966 book, Tragedy and Hope: "The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties [are] almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. The policies that are vital and necessary for America [in the minds of the One World Globalists] are no longer subjects of significant disagreement, but are disputable only in details of procedure, priority, and method" (pgs.1247-1248). The simple truth is that both parties have been taken over and are virtually "owned" by the Illuminati globalists and their corporate co-conspirators. They are busy dismantling our once proud, free and prosperous Republic in preparation for its absorption into the Luciferian new world order. Grasp this fact and virtually all the political questions you may have been harboring in your mind for years will evaporate like the morning mist with the rising of the sun. You will then understand why our "leading politicians" never seriously address any of the major and ever-growing crises engulfing our nation. Their betrayal of our sovereignty and true national security, their silence on George W. Bush’s plan to form a "North American Union" with Canada and Mexico as equal partners, their tacit abandoning of the once almighty dollar in favor of a unified currency called the Amero. You will never hear them seriously probing into the reasons why our educational system is such a disaster, or why our original legal system (constitutional due process) has been subverted. They will never seriously address the nation-destroying affects of the influx of illegal aliens. Nor will they ever honestly address the catastrophic, unpayable national debt obligations now estimated to be in the region of $70,000,000,000,000. Yet none dare call them traitors!

Perhaps the vast majority our "lawmakers" in the District of Corruption could, in a rare moment of total honesty, repeat the words issued by President George W. Bush on August 5th, 2004: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful... They never stop thinking about new ways to harm this country and our people, and neither do we."

Doesn’t having "representatives" of this caliber give you a wonderfully warm, fuzzy feeling of security - and great confidence in the future!

If you can stand it and not become nauseated, look at the "presidential candidates" for the 2008 election. All but two of them are, it seems, in the public eye 24/7. Not realizing the phoniness of the whole charade, most Americans blindly accept the whole travesty as ultimate reality. The multimillionaire talking heads, slavishly hewing to the script handed them by their corporate bosses, have done a great job. The veil of deception they have drawn over the eyes of the American public obscures the startling political reality that this campaign is nothing more than a parade of pitiful political prostitutes ("creatures" who have sold their miserable souls to the devil for a few fleeting moments of national fame). In the tawdry bordellos of the airwaves (television and radio networks), and also through mass-circulation newspapers and magazines, these political whores are paraded endlessly before the unwitting, dumbed-down, zombified American public as if they had true substance. In a carnival-like atmosphere, they are touted for their alleged "virtues" and qualities of "leadership." The fact that none of them ever address the real issues head-on and in depth and that they speak only in meaningless generalities, is never brought to the attention of viewers or readers. Allowing people to think and reason for themselves is anathema ("a cursed thing") to our the political "madams" and our would-be feudal masters.

The campaigns of such exceptional candidates as Ron Paul - an individual who fearlessly speaks out and addresses the real issues - are all but totally ignored by the political and corporate "Madams" who control the political whorehouse headquartered on Capitol Hill. That, whether we wish to accept it or not, is political reality 101!

Next year, American voters will have the opportunity to throw out many of the whorish scoundrels who presently infest the Washington political scene. That’s good - and what desperately needs to be done. But those political charlatans who have stolen control of our country through trickery and fraud will only give the nation the opportunity to replace them with, as Dr. Quigley stated, yet another bunch of ever more compromised "scoundrels."

But what to do? Are we going to cringe in fear and silence? Are we going to hide behind some non-existent shield that promises us "protection"? Are we going to fold up our tents and creep away into the night with an attitude of, "let posterity be damned"?

We have all been given certain talents and responsibilities - certain "stewardships" - for which we must bear personal responsibility. As scripture says, "it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful" (I Corinthians 4:2). With that in mind, it is vital that we faithfully spread abroad the truths and understanding we have been given.

Remember the parable of the talents. Here we see three individuals who were given certain talents and responsibilities. Two used what they were given to great advantage and were called "good and faithful servants." The third "was afraid and hid his talents in the earth." He was "afraid" to take decisive action - to speak out - and thus produced nothing of value (Matthew 25:25).

How about us ? Will we use our God-given talents to help "spread the word" far and wide? Or will we, like the third recipient of the talents (a "wicked and slothful servant"), "be afraid and hide our talents in the earth," thus depriving others of the opportunity to know and understand what is really happening to our world - politically, economically and especially spiritually.

Or will we, like the first two who received the talents, hear the blessed words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things"?

Best Wishes, Des Griffin
